The Chicago Yacht Club, one of the most prestigious private clubs in the country, is seeking professional, service-driven individuals to join our Monroe Station team as Seasonal On-Call Banquet Servers for the upcoming season.
**All applicant must have a valid unexpired Food Handler Certification. An be available to pick up shifts on Friday Saturday and Sunday if needed**
Compensation
- $21.00 per hour
- Tipped position
- On-Call Banquet Servers have the potential to earn both tips and event-based gratuity depending on the function
On-Call Banquet Servers
- Scheduled based on event needs (weddings, regattas, private events, club functions)
- Flexible, as-needed call-back scheduling
- Set up and break down banquet spaces
- Provide plated, buffet, or cocktail-style service
- Maintain professionalism during high-volume events
- Work collaboratively with the banquet captain and event team
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred (restaurant or banquet experience a plus)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak season
- Reliable and punctual
