Position Overview: We are seeking an exceptional and experienced server to join our team of hospitality professionals at GG's Waterfront. Serving elegant cuisine dockside with magnificent views of daily sunsets. GG's Waterfront features fresh sea bass, chilled seafood towers, Florida stone crabs, bone-in NY strip steaks, and a Wine Spectator Award winning wine list.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a refined dining experience by providing attentive and personalized service.
- Accurately take and process guest orders, including food and beverage pairings.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations through proactive service.
- Ensure a pristine and polished dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely and accurate order delivery.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and grace.
- Process payments and maintain accurate checklists.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an upscale or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of wine and cocktail pairings, with a passion for culinary arts.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
- A polished appearance and a strong sense of professionalism.
- A valid Florida Food Handlers License.
