A fully trained Club Benchmarking Capital Asset Manager will be expected to:
• Conduct and eventually lead on-site inspections of a club’s physical assets.
• Conduct interviews with the client club’s management team members.
• Document asset inventories according to CB guidelines and standards.
• Develop study reports according to CB guidelines and standards.
• Benefit package includes health insurance and 401K plus the opportunity to travel and tour the finest clubs in North America.
• Open to candidates residing anywhere in the United States within one hour of a major airport
• Candidates must be willing to travel up to 30 to 35 weeks a year and possess TSA clearance and a valid driver’s license.
Requirements for Success:
• Willing and able to fully engage in the training process.
• Five or more years of experience in the private club industry, preferrable but not required.
• Some knowledge of mechanical systems, construction and agronomy preferred.
• Above-average knowledge of, and experience with, Microsoft Excel.
• Comfortable learning to use new technology.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
• Well-developed critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
• Organized and efficient with the ability to multi-task comfortably.
• Self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal) suitable for communication with senior management, board members and committee members.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and committed to becoming a trusted member of the CB team.
• Willing to contribute to the team’s effort to grow the business and expand market penetration.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Additional certifications relevant to the role are preferred (e.g., Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Class A PGA Professional, Certified Club Manager) but not required.
