Key Responsibilities Course & Grounds Management

Plan, direct, and execute all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and cultural practices
Maintain consistent course conditions aligned with private club standards
Oversee care of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, roughs, practice facilities, and landscaped areas
Adjust maintenance programs based on weather conditions

Leadership & Staff Development

Budgeting & Financial Management

Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget with the General Manager
Monitor labor, materials, and equipment expenses
Assist in planning capital improvements, equipment replacement, and long-term agronomic initiatives

Equipment & Facilities

Communication & Collaboration

Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with environmental, chemical, and workplace safety regulations
Maintain accurate records and required reports

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent (private club experience preferred)
Degree or certificate in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or related field preferred
Strong knowledge of warm-season and cool-season turf management
Proven leadership and staff management skills
Strong organizational, budgeting, and planning abilities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
