The New York Yacht Club is hiring for a part-time server position. The schedule requires a Monday – Friday dinner availability with opportunities to pick up additional work with our banquet/Events department. This position is being added to strengthen coverage during peak dining periods and ensure seamless operations while also allowing potential for growth into a full-time role. The New York Yacht Club is a private club committed to both our members and staff looking for an experienced positive worker to join our team.
Requirements:
Professional outgoing personality
Hospitality experience and knowledge of following F&B sequence of service standards.
Basic cocktail and wine knowledge
Capable of following serving techniques as dictated by club policy and dining rules stated in the employee handbook.
Fluent English and capable of verbalizing and selling any food or drink specials
Observant with attention to detail
