Job Title: Backwaiter

Ezio’s is a new fine dining steakhouse coming to Miami beach brought to you by the team behind Roberta’s, Blanca and Foul Witch in NYC. Ezio’s is a boutique Italian steakhouse specializing in dry-aged meats, handmade pastas, and a curated natural wine and spirits program. Our mission is to deliver an exceptional dining experience rooted in craft, integrity, and hospitality to bring a Michelin caliber dining experience that feels both elevated and personal.
As a Backwaiter at Ezio’s, you’ll support the service team in maintaining the flow of the dining room, ensuring guests receive timely, gracious, and seamless service. You’ll be a key player in executing the details that define an exceptional fine dining experience from table maintenance to guest communication and pacing. This is a position for individuals who take pride in precision, organization, and teamwork, and who are eager to learn and grow within a high-level service team.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of restaurant experience, preferably in fine dining or high-volume settings
- A sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure
- Professional, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, clean, and organized under pressure
- A passion for hospitality and a desire to grow within the restaurant
- Flexible availability — evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
A team-first mentality and willingness to support all roles on the floor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clear and reset tables with efficiency, elegance, and attention to detail
- Support Captains and Servers in executing smooth table service, including food running and table maintenance
- Maintain clean, well-stocked service stations and assist with replenishing silverware, glassware, and other items
- Ensure all table settings meet Ezio’s standards for cleanliness and presentation
- Communicate clearly and promptly with FOH and BOH teams to support service flow
- Assist with menu knowledge and guest communication when needed
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings and participate actively in team training
- Step in where needed to ensure smooth, seamless service across the dining room
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods (6+ hours)
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 15 pounds regularly
- Able to reach, bend, carry, and perform other physical tasks as needed
