Horseshoe Bend Country Club is a private, single owner club located in Roswell, GA. We are seeking a superintendent to join our staff. This position reports to a Director of Agronomy. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong organizational and management skills.

- Tennis Center with 13 tennis courts, 6 of which are clay courts along with 3 pickelball courts

- Equipment is owned, not leased. Mainly John Deere mowers with a few Toro items. Utility carts are Yamaha
- Most all equipment has been replaced within the last 3 years, with old machines as backups
- Irrigation pump station is a Rain Bird unit. Controllers and operating system is Hunter.
- Full time staff of 15-20 depending on the season and 3-4 seasonal positions along with an Equipment Manager and Assistant Superintendent.
- Currently in the middle of a large scale tree removal project. Discussions are being held about a small renovation to the golf course following the tree removals, no dedicated plans at the moment.
- We complete alot of small project work in house and have a very large inventory of equipment that helps us achieve that.
- What is Expected of You
- Positive attitude and team-player, willing to work alongside the crew.
- Be a firm, but fair, leader to the crew.
- Irrigation knowledge. Abiltiy to keep inventory and make/oversee repairs.
- Willingness to listen/learn.
- Ability to help us present an elite golf course every day to our members/guests.
- Crew management, scheduling and payroll.
- Must be willing to work every other weekend. Alternate with the Assistant.
- Category 24 pesticide license, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
