We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell food and beverage items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables efficiently.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines during food handling and preparation.
- Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math for processing payments.
- Support host/host duties as needed, ensuring smooth guest flow in the restaurant.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards in the food industry.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $30.00 per hour
