The Ohioan Hotel and Event Center (Formally Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center) located in Lewis Center, Ohio is searching for a Front Desk Agent to join our team!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a polished, service-driven Guest Experience Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences that feel personal, welcoming, and memorable.

Prior experience in luxury or upscale hospitality is strongly preferred, along with a natural ability to take ownership, anticipate guest needs, and create a sense of home for every arrival.

Essential Functions:
- Provide refined, professional, and warm guest service during check-in and check-out
- Handle reservations, payments, and guest inquiries with accuracy and care
- Operate the OPERA Cloud Property Management System (PMS) to manage reservations, billing, and guest profiles
- Collaborate with housekeeping, Sales, Planning, and all departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
- Maintain an elegant, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby presence
- Uphold luxury service standards and consistently exceed guest expectations
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and elevated customer service skills
- Experience with OPERA Cloud PMS strongly preferred (or ability to learn quickly)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience in luxury or boutique hotel environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
- Leadership qualities, initiative, and a guest-first mindset
