Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during events, ensuring that all banquet functions run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including arranging tables, chairs, and linens.
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Assist with food display, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and adherence to safety standards.
- Clear tables efficiently during and after events, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
- Provide attentive guest relations by addressing needs promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support catering operations by assisting with event setup, breakdown, and logistical coordination.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with hospitality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred.
- Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and safety regulations.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
- Prior restaurant experience or hotel service background is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and coffee service is a plus.
