Serenoa Golf Club (designed by David Martin Alden) is a course unlike typical Florida golf courses. Alden combined the existing wetlands and natural lay-of-the-land to create a masterpiece that 'Florida Golf News' calls one of the top 100 courses in Florida and one of the top three in Sarasota! Alden was somehow able to take the rubber-stamp Florida golf course and throw it to the wind. He took the modest 6,270-yard layout and made it play more like 7,200, bringing water into play on every hole to create a shot-maker's course layout. You'll quickly see why many area golfers call us their home away from home, with some of the friendliest staff and hospitality from Tampa to Fort Myers.
