The Chere Amie is a Yacht Charter company that holds events and cruises in the San Diego Bay. We are looking for skilled servers/bartenders/mixologists who are able to work mainly on weekends and holidays when we have events.
If you are interested in working in a fun, fast-paced environment then the Chere Amie may be right for you. We host both private and public events/parties on our boat such as Birthday Parties, Booze cruises, Corporate events, and Club type events featuring a DJ.
Job Responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar. You will need to make sure that all guests are being served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Interacting with our guests is an important part of the job. So people who are friendly, courteous, and energetic will fit in great.
- Working the cash register and taking credit/debit payments from customers and organizing tabs when necessary.
- Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipment in good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and County health department.
Job Requirements
- Serving/bartending experience required, 1-3 years preferred.
- This position requires previous bartender experience in a high volume, fast-paced, nightclub or busy bar environment.
- Vast knowledge of many cocktail mixes/recipes.
- Highly skilled and passionate about making great mixed drinks and the desire for perfection when creating your cocktails.
- Hard worker who is always looking to get things done and pays attention to detail.
- Honest and trustworthy, can always be counted on to complete any tasks they have been assigned.
- Team player who is always positive, enthusiastic, humble, and respectful to all team members and guests.
- Flexible work schedule; available to work mainly on weekends and on occasion weekdays
