POSITION SUMMARY: Our Guest Services Specialist delivers unparalleled service to guests, welcoming them to Hatley Pointe, and directing their experience through personalized attention and expertise. These are individuals who truly enjoy being of service, engaging with guests, and helping to create and deliver exceptional experiences.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
- Assist guests with passes, rental equipment, and activity reservations.
- Provide detailed information about lodge amenities, trail conditions, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Assist with day-to-day lodge operations, including organizing guest flow during peak periods.
- Support special events or seasonal programs hosted by the lodge.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, reservations, and incident reports.
- Promote safety and enforce lodge rules for mountain biking, trails, and common areas.
- Uphold Hatley Pointe’s hospitality standards at all times.
- Take phone calls and respond to emails, communicating with guests and potential guests in a manner that aligns with our core values.
- Ensure the tidiness and presentation of the workspace, guest areas, and back of the house.
- Other tasks as assigned by Leadership and cross-training within Retail, Coffee Shop and F&B host/ess is required.

Qualifications
-Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role preferred.
-Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
-Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
-Proficient in using computer systems for reservations, check-ins, and other front desk operations.
-Knowledge of phone etiquette and ability to handle phone calls professionally.
-Familiarity with hospitality management principles is a plus.
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
