This is not your normal front desk job; it keeps you busy with lots of client interactions [dogs and their humans]! At Poochie’s you are called an “Office Master Lead." The Lead's focus is on customer service standards and supporting their receptionists. They make sure to keep up the homey and welcoming feeling that makes Poochie's unique!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Attending to clients in person, by phone, text, or email all in a timely and problem-solving manner. Ensuring a positive first interaction by promptly welcoming clients with a smile.
Organizing and processing pet check ins/outs, and scheduling reservations.
Walk new clients and their dogs through facility tours, or out to the dog park for their first visit.
Monitors cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Provide excellent customer service by professionally and compassionately addressing client inquiries/concerns.
Verify and communicate service availability daily; ensure receptionists are upselling products.
Verify accuracy of all pet information, clearing up any discrepancies promptly. Including add-on services, medications, health concerns, etc.
Monitor and respond to Google Reviews.
Quality control on postcard pictures, and creative messages.
Verify groom quality standards are maintained.
Proper and honest management of the cashbox/safe.
Monitor waitlist.
Confirm upcoming grooming appointments.
Call and collect unpaid deposits.
Monitor Lodging and Facility calendars and correct any overbooking errors promptly.
Verify grooming service prices.
Walking our four-legged friends for drop off and pickup.
Complete cashier and point of sale operations.
Ensure receptionists are quick to help in any way, so that the clients and their dogs are taken care of.
Monitor daily chore list is being completed in a timely manner and meeting expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, and standing for long periods of time
Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes, and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Flexibility to business schedule needs including weekends, holidays, and peak times.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
(preferred) Proficient in software systems, such as but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Gingr, PAL, Weave, When I Work
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
