Job Summary
The Ocean Springs Yacht Club is seeking hardworking, responsible, punctual servers to join our team. You would be responsible for positive, attentive, and engaging interactions while serving members in a friendly and efficient manner and making great and consistent drinks.
Duties would include taking providing our members a memorable dining experience, as well as cleaning, running food, and keeping up running side work. As a server you will work closely with the other staff members in delivering high quality service to all members and guests. Must work in a team environment and help co-workers as needed.
Essential Functions:
Customer Service
-Greet all members and guests warmly
-Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to membership
-Maintain professional appearance
-Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
-Verify bill accuracy and handle all account charges from members and guests
Serving
-Knowledge of beers, wines, liquors and craft cocktails a plus
-Follow all assigned shift checklist procedures
-Suggesting items, assisting in drink selection, informing members about drink/ food specials
-All other duties as needed or assigned
Job Requirements:
-Must be 18 years old
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
-Serving experience required
-Flexible schedule
-Must be dependable and responsible
