Position Overview
The Head Golf Course Superintendent reports directly to the General Manager and serves as a key member of the Club’s senior leadership team. The Superintendent is responsible for agronomic performance, maintenance operations, personnel leadership, budgeting, capital planning, equipment management, irrigation systems, and regulatory compliance.

Core Responsibilities
• Develop and implement comprehensive agronomic programs
• Maintain exceptional year-round playing conditions
• Lead irrigation strategy and water management planning
• Oversee fertilizer and pesticide programs with regulatory compliance
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
• Oversee equipment replacement and lifecycle planning
• Recruit, train, and retain a skilled grounds team
• Collaborate closely with Club leadership and committees

Qualifications
• 2- or 4-year degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, or related field
• Missouri Category 3 Pesticide License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Progressive leadership experience in golf course maintenance
• Demonstrated success managing budgets and agronomic programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and passion for excellence
