Big Spring Country Club and Harmony Landing Country Club are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Irrigation technician to maintain and manage the golf course's irrigation system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with golf course irrigation systems, a strong understanding of turfgrass water requirements, and a proactive approach to maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in irrigation maintenance on a golf course or similar setting
- Familiarity with pump station operation and maintenance, including flow sensors, pressure regulation, and preventative maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be organized, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Have good time management skills
- Prior golf course maintenance and irrigation experience is a plus
- Must be able to multi-task, solve problems, and prioritize well
- Spanish speaking is a major plus
