About Us: The Savannah Yacht Club is a private, family-oriented club located on the Wilmington River on Whitemarsh Island, in Savannah Georgia. We are dedicated to member satisfaction through superior service and quality facilities.
Summary: Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests at private and club sponsored banquets.
Job Duties:
- Able to execute all details on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) in the set time constraints.
- Ability to execute all service types to the highest standard.
- Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating them.
- Takes beverage orders and serves food in specified station.
- Clears soiled dishes as needed.
- Assists in closing functions such as removing linen, bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. and re-setting the room for the next function.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
- Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in hot, humid, and noisy environments.
- Required to work weekends and most holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
