As the Golf Course Superintendent at Juday Creek, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the maintenance of the golf course grounds, practice areas, and clubhouse facilities to uphold the quality of excellence of Juday Creek. You will work closely with the owners, general manager, and director of golf to ensure seamless operations and uncomplicated decision making.
This role involves supervising a team of staff members, delegating tasks, and ensuring both productivity and quality performance. You will also be involved in planning and executing course improvements to enhance the overall golfing experience for our patrons. Additionally, you will supervise and participate in the maintenance and repair of golf course grounds equipment. Rainbird irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, and repairs is also a significant job component.
Ideal candidates for this position will have at least 5 years of previous experience as a superintendent or in a supervisory role in turf management. The successful candidate will be flexible and team oriented. They will have a strong understanding of golf course maintenance practices, equipment operation, and irrigation systems. Attention to detail, leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining high-quality golf course grounds are essential for this role.
